CitNOW pioneered the development of automotive video in 2008, as a means of helping people view cars, without visiting the showroom. Since then, they’ve become one of the biggest B2B technology providers in the automotive industry - with 150+ employees around the globe.
In 2019, CitNOW asked ROMI to support them with their marketing automation strategy. Leading on later in the year to a full review of their organisational value proposition. And most recently, a full content strategy and production programme, designed to help cement their position as a market leader in the space, while leading the conversation on key issues for the sector.

What we did
CitNOW always placed a strong emphasis on content as part of its marketing strategy. But previously, content strategy and production was handled mostly in-house. With a full marketing programme also underway and ambitious plans for growth, finding the time to come up with new ideas and produce content consistently was a challenge.
By teaming up with ROMI, CitNOW was able to create compelling content in a much more efficient and agile way - allowing them to focus on running the core marketing programme, while continuing to position themselves as an industry leader.
But perhaps the biggest benefit was the fresh ideas and outside perspectives that ROMI brings. Sharing these ideas as an extension of the CitNOW team, meant that not only was content produced more efficiently, but it was also more relevant and engaging.
This partnership approach proved to be especially valuable as the COVID-19 pandemic took hold in early 2020. With the automotive industry thrown into turmoil and dealers forced to close their doors, CitNOW wanted to show as much support as possible by providing helpful advice on how to deal with the circumstances. The ROMI team supported this with a fast turnaround of quality, focused content, regularly moving from initial concept through to final publication in a matter of days - helping CitNOW communicate with their customers when it mattered most.
Simultaneously, ROMI helped CItNOW implement HubSpot Enterprise, a key tool in providing consistent, high-quality, and insightful communication with their customers.
