Founded in 2019, Juniper Education assists thousands of schools, academies and Multi-Academy Trusts all over the UK. Its workforce of over 400 education professionals delivers support, education software and services to improve pupil and staff outcomes.
Juniper Education is relied upon by more than 14,000 schools, and 70% of all the MATs in the UK, and has brought together many of the UK’s leading educational software experts and service providers. Juniper excels in providing tailored solutions for the classroom, school office, communications department and for staff, and came to ROMI to generate the same excellence in their content and marketing.
How we help
Overview
ROMI started working with Juniper in May 2021, initially exploring search engine and content optimisation. This started with a full audit of Juniper’s marketing, content and website footprint, including detailed interviews with individual stakeholders to ascertain how the Juniper brand was perceived. Based on this information, we worked closely with Juniper to develop thought leadership and buyer enablement content production, alongside SEO and PPC.
Website
After the success of the SEO and content optimisation, ROMI worked with Juniper in 2024 on a brand refresh. This included a complete rebrand of the website with migration to Wordpress and a rebuild implementation within HubSpot; it required close collaboration with Juniper’s internal marketing team to drive the restructuring. This was completed to a tight 14-week deadline, as Juniper wanted the new site ready to coincide with the start of the 2023/24 school year.

Branding
In parallel with the website project, ROMI and Juniper collaborated on an updating of their brand guidelines, in line with the modern, cleaner feel of its website. Content overhauled included visual identity guidelines, bid tender documents, Word templates, letterheads, presentation templates, and other internal and external documents.

Results
A new level of brand awareness
The website refresh and HubSpot migration have helped boost organic visibility by 72% over the last 12 months, and top–ten organic page rankings have also improved by 23% since the migration was completed. We also deployed conversion tracking to enable the accurate capture of conversion and lead data for the first time in a number of years. At the same time, Juniper was also able to generate significant savings by moving away from a website platform with high costs for hosting, plugins and maintenance.
